Connor Lee & Shumaker PLLC Makes Impactful Difference

In their inaugural year partnering with Run For The Water, Connor Lee & Shumaker PLLC went a step further by hosting a 10-day registration. And It’s the most impactful one we’ve ever had!

Thanks to Connor Lee & Shumaker PLLC’s registration drive, more people will be at the starting line on race day on November 6, and even more people in Burundi will have a lifetime of clean water.

For every 10-Miler or 5K registration during the registration drive, Connor Lee & Shumaker PLLC contributed $5 to this year’s Run For The Water. Race organizers saw a dramatic increase in registration each day of the drive, with a grand total of 292 people registering.

“We are so thankful for partners like Connor Lee & Shumaker PLLC who find unique and creative ways to support our efforts at Run For The Water. The success of the registration drive underscores the commitment and dedication the Austin community has to supporting our mission of providing access to clean water for the people of Burundi. We would like to thank Connor Lee & Shumaker PLLC for helping us motivate and engage runners to join us on November 6th,” said Cheryl Teekell, race director.
